Tarot

I shall not spend long words about what Tarot is, how it works or where it came from. It is a very complex system, but can be also explained in a few lines only. Tarot cards speak to us in the language of symbols. Our world is filled with symbols. They are in a way some silent agreement among us. Some are well known and widely spread, others are more hidden, more difficult to understand. Each Tarot card is a collection of symbols, numbers, colors,… set together in a very well considered way until it finally comes to life on its own, representing some new (and yet ancient) aspect of this word. There are numerous different Tarot decks out there. Some seem more artistic then others and some are so stripped of symbols and colors that one can hardly recognize the particular card, but it still appears as is there is nothing left to coincidence. A single card as a unit, or in combination with some other cards, speaks to us on some (un)understandable, hidden, subconscious level.
The structure of Tarot cards in general:
There are 22 cards of Major Arkana, so called Trumps. They represent general archetypes that can be found all around us, as well as in each one of us. The other part of a Tarot deck is Minor Arkana. It consists of four colors (elements); each color holds four court cards and additional 10 cards (simply numbered from one to 10), that give further insight to some specific areas of life.
Elements (colors) are Disks (earth, material plane), Cups (water, emotions), Swords (air, mind) and Wands (fire, spirit).
