Mercury is the planet of communication, education, intellect and common sense. It describes the way our mind works, what interests we have and what catches our attention. It affects our logic, concentration while studying, desire to broaden out horizons, our communication skills and the ability to adapt. Following Mercury’s movement can help us understand our reactions to the outside world. It helps us to see whether it is a good day to travel, to call meetings or to make business deals. It can indicate whether it’s a good time to make decisions that involve bigger amounts of money. Mercury’s inconvenient position can also cause tensions and conflicts or even provoke fights. But if you have for example an exam coming up, you can’t really wait for a month for Mercury to finally move. You can’t postpone an important lecture just because Mercury could make your audience less open to your great idea. However, the trick is, by knowing where Mercury stands it is easier to overcome obstacles. It will help you to understand for example why you lack concentration and will show you the details that require more attention.

Moon and Zodiac
Even with a little knowledge of astrology you can gain some glimpse of what the future holds for you by following the movement of the moon. Moon Phases
Moon always played a big role in human life. We can find at least as many lunar deities as solar deities throughout history. Every mythology knew rituals that were performed at a full or a dark moon. Something mystical was and still is connected with the moon. Surely you have heard a bodyguard at a night club whining about more drunks causing more trouble on a full moon night, or a nurse telling about more babies being born.
More births, accidents, crimes etc. on a full moon night appears to be a “common knowledge”,….

Gemstones are another beautiful gift from mother nature. They have been cherished throughout history for their beauty and their associated healing properties and “magical powers”. Often they were connected with various deities.
Gemstones make a beautiful gift. Often they are put into jewelry and worked into pens and other accessories. They affect the atmosphere of a room they are placed in and can be very useful when working with energies or in meditation.

THE SHORT HISTORY OF ASTROLOGY
Astrology is probably the oldest human science, since the man has been observing the universe for a long time. The oldest reports of the phases of the Moon can be found on animal bones and are as old as 17,000 years….
ASTROLOGICAL SIGNS AND SENSITIVE SPOTS IN A LOVE RELATIONSHIP
…. In astrology planets connected to sex and love also include Mars (energy, physical instinct, penetration), Venus (our wishes, relationships with others, shows the spot of pleasure, our values), and Pluto, which in itself is very asexual, like an amoeba. In a combination with other planets and aspects Pluto can point to obsessions; it is a planet of the beginning and the end, of transformation, sex, violence….

Surely Tarot cards are some dinosaurs left over from old times, when magical, mystical and religious had way more impact on human life. But especially now, in the era of communication, technology and science, Tarot again finds its place among other “alternative sciences”. Our life style with our busy tempo hardly allows us to sit back and relax, to reflect on our life, to rethink and better understand why are we not as happy as we could be, or why do we come across the same problem over and over again, or why are we super successful in one field but totally terrified of some other, …

The world around us is filled with symbols, some of them more obvious to the eye and some that pass unnoticed, only rarely attracting our attention. The impact of astrology on the world of symbols can not be neglected. There are many symbols that are either based on zodiac signs, or at least have an astrological component combined with something else, and of course many more symbols not connected to astrology at all. However, knowing some basics about astrology can help us to better understand a particular symbol, or perhaps it reveals some aspects or “deeper” meanings that were not visible to us before.
